Gravitic Mines - A cave flyer for the Atari Jaguar
A downloadable game for Windows
Welcome to the Gravitic Mines homepage on itch.io!
The game was released in 2022/2023 exclusively for the Atari Jaguar system in physical format and recently won the 2023 Atari awards show for Jaguar homebrew of the year.
In celebration of this honour I relaunched the project/game page.
What is Gravitic Mines?
Gravitic Mines is the cave flyer game for the Atari Jaguar that crosses 80' Gravitar and Lunar Lander mechanics with modern style graphics and puzzle/exploration flavours!
We took inspiration from several other games: Gravity Crash, Pixel Junk Shooter, Battlemorph, Rayman, just to name a few.
Highlights:
- Gravitic Mines interweaves shoot em up mechanics, gravity physics, puzzle gameplay and exploration in one compelling gaming package that will keep you occupied for hours!
- Lush, colorful graphics in 16 bit high color mode, hand painted artwork, over 40 MB of data
- locked 60FPS, smooth parallax scrolling
- 4 unique worlds, visual storytelling, 2 challenging campaigns, over 32 unique missions and exciting boss battles

- High quality soundtrack with more than a dozen tracks and voice samples

Any chance there is a way to buy this outside of AtariAge? Love them, but they are backed up a year for shipping.
Thanks, but no, however I think AA should have some copies in stock..
Updated, its available digitally. Regards!
